The event was inaugurated by Surg Vice Admiral Arti Sarin, Director General Armed Forces Medical Services (DGAFMS), and Dr M Srinivas, Director of AIIMS New Delhi, alongside other dignitaries.

Held under the larger framework of Viksit Bharat at 2047, SHAPE 2025 comes at a pivotal time in India’s growth journey, offering a national platform to deliberate on climate-resilient, patient-centric, and technologically advanced healthcare ecosystems.

“This conference sets the direction for healthcare infrastructure that not only meets medical needs but also aligns with sustainability, national preparedness, and equity,” noted one of the key speakers.

The two-day Continuing Medical Education (CME) event explored:

  • Green technologies including solar power and rainwater harvesting
  • Disaster-resilient design and zero-emission hospital infrastructure
  • GRIHA-compliant and CFEES-certified frameworks
  • Healing architecture and ergonomic design principles

SHAPE 2025 provided a platform for Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) and civil institutions to co-create a future-ready doctrine for hospital infrastructure, emphasizing sustainable planning, patient safety, and operational efficiency.
